On the afternoon of November 14, in Hanoi, Tien Phong Newspaper held a press conference to announce the National STEM, AI and Robotics Championship 2024 (Vietnam STEM AI Robotics - VSAR) for high school students with the theme "Green Agriculture - Sustainable Development".
Speaking at the press conference, journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said that the contest with the theme "Green Agriculture - Sustainable Development" with technology solutions, artificial intelligence and automation aims to solve challenges in agricultural production.
This event is not only a science and technology playground for students but also a journey to connect knowledge, spread passion for science and technology and encourage the young generation of Vietnam to constantly explore and create.
With a variety of contest contents and practical competition tables, the contest is an opportunity for thousands of students across the country to experience, explore and apply knowledge about programming, robot control and develop creative thinking.
"In this journey, no matter who wins the highest prize, all of you are winners because you have cultivated your thinking, broadened your vision, and nurtured your passion for technology to create a bright future," said journalist Phung Cong Suong, expressing his belief that through the contest, you will not only develop your personal abilities but also enhance your sense of responsibility to society.
This year's National STEM, AI and Robotics Championship includes 5 main tournaments, including: National STEM, AI and Robotics Championship (VSAR), IYRC Vietnam Tournament 2024, MakeX Championship, Tekmonk Coding Olympiad Championship, Virtual Robot Championship - ViRC.
The tournaments in the program guide candidates to solve life problems, helping them have the closest output to the knowledge learned in the general education program.
The Organizing Committee accepts applications from now until December 10, 2024.
The teams will be divided into groups according to their age and level. The final round of the competition will take place on December 21, 2024, at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Hanoi).
Regarding the prize structure, the total value of the prize in cash and in kind is more than 400 million VND and more than 600 million VND in scholarships from academies and technology companies.
