The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just issued Official Letter No. 316/UBND-VHXH with many important contents, including instructions on the management of extra teaching and learning.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Directors of the Department of Education and Training (DET), Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, Heads of relevant agencies to focus on directing general education institutions, managers, and teachers under their management to implement tasks and solutions to ensure that students meet the goals and requirements of the program.
Strictly implement regulations on extra teaching and learning according to Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT; thoroughly grasp and enhance the responsibility of principals for conducting extra teaching and learning in schools, and ensure the management of teachers of the school when participating in extra teaching outside of school in accordance with regulations.
Strengthen inspection and examination work; strictly handle violations of regulations. Timely discover, commend, reward, and replicate the examples of dedicated, dedicated, and devoted collectives and individuals for students.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province also requested to study and report to competent authorities for consideration and implementation of appropriate funding support plans for schools according to the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 10/CD-TTg dated February 7, 2025, of the Ministry of Education and Training and related regulations to contribute to improving the quality of education.
In addition, it is required to complete the announcement of the junior high school and high school admission plans in February 2025 so that students, teachers and educational institutions can proactively prepare for admission.
The Department of Education and Training urgently develops and publicly announces principles and criteria for considering junior high school admissions, guiding the implementation of student capacity assessment for admission to grade 6 for schools with students enrolling in excess of the assigned quota.
Regarding the 10th grade entrance exam, the 2025 high school graduation exam, the Department of Education and Training is fully responsible for preparing for and organizing the exam, proactively coordinating with relevant departments, branches, sectors, agencies and local People's Committees to ensure the necessary conditions for the exam.
