The People's Committee of Ca Mau province decided to transfer the status quo of public education service units under the old Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces to the new Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province (after merging provinces).
61 public education units have been kept in accordance with the facilities, apparatus, and human resources under the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province (new).
With the above decision, Ca Mau province has 2 specialized high schools, including Bac Lieu specialized school (Bac Lieu ward) and Phan Ngoc Hien specialized school (An Xuyen ward); along with 2 ethnic boarding schools (Bac Lieu DTNT General School and Ca Mau DTNT General School).
Ca Mau province decided to change the name of Phan Ngoc Hien High School (in the old Bac Lieu) to Le Hong Phong School.
In addition, Ca Mau province has 9 new Continuing Education centers, vocational guidance, supporting the development of integrated education.
After the merger of provinces, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen (born in 1970) - Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province (old) holds the position of Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province (new); along with 4 Deputy Directors of the department including Mr. Le Hoang Du, Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, Mr. Dang Tri Thu, Mr. Nguyen Ba Long.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province also decided to transfer and transfer jobs to 1,306 civil servants and public employees under the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province (old) and 2,428 civil servants and public employees under the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province (old) to work at the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province (new).
