On the evening of March 20, the 6th Ho Chi Minh City Youth Festival (Youth Fest) in 2026 officially opened at Phan Dinh Phung park (Vo Van Tan street, Xuan Hoa ward). The festival lasts until March 22.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Tuan Anh - Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union said that the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Festival is one of the typical cultural and social events, held annually to create a space for exchange, connection, experience and promote the creative potential of youth and city residents.
This year's festival takes place in the vibrant atmosphere of the city's youth, aiming to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026), and the 50th anniversary of the city being honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh.

With the message "New Era - Pioneering - Integration - Comprehensive Development", this year's festival is not only a cultural - artistic - entertainment festival, but also a gathering place for knowledge, technology, creativity and the aspiration to contribute of the young generation.
Through the activities of the festival, the Standing Committee of the City Youth Union believes that each union member and youth of the city will continue to strive to study, train, be dedicated, and be creative, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City to develop sustainably and comprehensively, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people" - Mr. Tuan Anh emphasized.

Diverse activities and experience spaces
Participating in this year's festival, Ms. My Uyen (Binh Thanh ward) was very impressed with the scale of the festival's organization. The event not only gathered a large number of youth union members and young people from localities throughout the city, but the activities for young people to participate were also very unique such as photobooth photography, enjoying typical regional dishes...

I see this as an ideal space to make friends and expand social relationships, thereby forming communication skills, teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic environment" - Ms. Uyen shared.
During the 3 days of the festival, many programs and activities are deployed in 7 unique experience spaces such as the Torch of Peace, Technology - Creativity, Literature - Art, Culture - Cuisine, Green Living, Startup, International Integration and art programs, event nights in response to the Earth Hour 2026 campaign, forums, seminars...

In particular, at the Technology - Creativity space, the organizers deploy activities to introduce ideas and creative projects of young people; organize new technology experience activities, technology games, digital simulation, virtual reality (VR/AR) applications...
