The People's Committee of Son La province has signed and issued Decision No. 51/2025/QD-UBND on promulgating "Regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province".
The regulation clearly states the responsibility of the Department of Education and Training in advising, guiding and organizing inspections and checking extra teaching and learning activities in the province. In addition, extra-curricular teaching institutions must notify the educational institutions in advance according to decentralization, ensuring conditions on facilities, safety, school health and fire prevention and fighting.
Any organization or individual who violates regulations on extra teaching and learning will be strictly handled according to the level of violation. The heads of agencies and units with officials who violate the law must also take joint responsibility.
With this new regulation, Son La province hopes to gradually put tutoring and extra learning activities into discipline, ensuring the rights of students, financial transparency and improving the quality of education.
