In order to proactively meet the requirements of innovating general education programs and local human resource needs, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has just approved the Plan of the Department of Education and Training on teacher training according to social needs in 2025, implemented according to Decree No. 116/2020/ND-CP and Decree No. 60/2025/ND-CP of the Government.

This is an important step to proactively add a team of teachers to meet the requirements of innovation of the 2018 general education program and the local human resource needs in the new period.

According to the plan, the total demand for teacher training in the province in 2025 is 1,246 people, including: 328 preschool teachers (110 colleges, 218 universities), 478 primary school teachers, 439 secondary and high school teachers, and 1 special education teacher. The training period ranges from 3 to 4 years depending on the qualifications, and is conducted through the method of placing orders with prestigious pedagogical training institutions such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Can Tho University, Saigon University, Dong Thap University, Ho Chi Minh City Central Pedagogical College, etc.

The subjects selected are students studying at universities and pedagogical colleges under the regular form, residing in Tay Ninh province. The selection is based on valid records, admission scores and additional criteria such as excellent student achievements at the national, provincial or priority policy level.

Students who are admitted according to the ordering plan will receive full tuition support from the State (according to the tuition fee of the training institution) and living allowance of 3.63 million VND/month during the study period. The total estimated cost of the plan is more than 262.7 billion VND, divided for the period 2025 - 2029. Of which, in 2025, more than 19.4 billion VND; in 2026, more than 67.3 billion VND; in 2027, more than 67.3 billion VND; in 2028, more than 65.5 billion VND; in 2029, more than 43 billion VND. The funding source is allocated from the local budget annually for the education and training sector.

The plan hopes to help Tay Ninh promptly meet the needs of developing the teaching staff in both quantity and quality, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education, building a solid pedagogical human resource for the sustainable development of the province.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh, in the 2025-2026 school year, the whole province will have 1,024 educational institutions from kindergarten to high school (965 public schools, 60 non-public schools), with more than 573,000 students.
