According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, at the investment project to build Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Thanh Nua commune, Dien Bien province), the working atmosphere is urgent and bustling.
The Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding School project officially started construction on November 9, 2025, invested by the Project Management Board of Civil and Industrial Works of Dien Bien province.
The project has a total investment of more than 224 billion VND, a scale of 5.39ha, with 30 classrooms, 13 subject rooms, 99 dormitory rooms and auxiliary items.
To date, the project has started construction of 15/15 items, progress has reached over 80%. The items are being implemented synchronously, ensuring quality and progress according to plan.
Representatives of Trade and Construction Co., Ltd. No. 6 (the construction contractor) - said that the unit maintains 200 or more workers at the construction site, arranged in different areas and items, to meet the progress.
The construction site command regularly urges contractors to organize continuous construction "3 shifts, 4 teams" striving to complete the entire project before August 30.
In particular, the construction contractor is expected to bring the Thanh Nua Inter-level Boarding School project to completion for the 3rd time in the country (Si Pa Phin Inter-level School, Dien Bien province has been inaugurated; Pa Tan Inter-level School, Lai Chau province is expected to finish for the 2nd time).
Mr. Tong Van Dien - a worker at Trading and Construction Company No. 6 Co., Ltd. shared: "Summer weather is harsh, but the workers encourage each other to stick to the construction site. Looking at the rows of classrooms and spacious dormitories gradually appearing, the workers are proud and happy.
The investor also said that the construction process always ensures the quality of the project and labor safety; assigning specific responsibilities to each unit and individual. Strive to complete projects according to plan, put them into use soon, and meet the learning needs of students in border areas.
Dien Bien province is currently implementing 15 projects to build Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary Schools in border communes, with a total investment of more than 3,550 billion VND.
Among these, the school project in Si Pa Phin commune was inaugurated at the end of January 2026. The remaining 9 projects started in 2025 are being focused on construction, and 5 projects started in 2026 are completing investment procedures.
According to forecasts, in the 2026-2027 school year, the system of inter-level boarding schools in the border area of Dien Bien will welcome more than 10,148 students, of which about 7,398 students will enjoy boarding benefits.
