Regarding the incident of a group of female students beating up a friend, Mr. Dang Van Hung - Principal of Nong Cong 2 High School (Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province) said that the school is waiting for the conclusion from the police, then will hold a disciplinary meeting for the students involved in the above incident.
According to verification from Nong Cong 2 High School (in Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province), on October 4, a female student of class 10A6, while returning from school, saw a female student of class 10A5 walking behind her talking and joking with another friend. The female student of class 10A6 thought that her friend was talking badly about her, leading to an argument. On the afternoon of October 5, when school was out, the two female students continued to argue and quarrel. Afterwards, the school security broke up the fight and all the students went home. However, when they reached Tan Phuc commune, a fight broke out.
As a result, an 11th grade female student (when she intervened to stop a group of friends from fighting) was beaten up and seriously injured, and had to be transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for treatment. This female student has now been transferred to Hop Luc General Hospital (in Thanh Hoa) for further monitoring and treatment.
