Recorded on April 23, inside the campus of Tran Dai Nghia Elementary School (Binh Hung Hoa ward), many workers are busy cleaning, watering trees and installing equipment to prepare to put the project into operation. This is the first school in Ho Chi Minh City built on the Binh Hung Hoa cemetery land.

Sharing about the project progress, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lich - Technical Officer in charge of the project said that the project is entering the final stage to hand over the entire project. Currently, the project is basically completed, and the construction unit is carrying out general cleaning and patching small details.

Regarding the workload, Mr. Lich informed: "We have handed over the administrative area to the Board of Directors and 30 main classrooms. Each room has a capacity of 30 to 36 students. In addition, functional rooms such as the Informatics room, English room, Fine Arts room, Music room... are also ready. Especially on the 3rd floor, the school also has a spacious semi-boarding area for students to rest on the spot.

Looking back at the construction process, the biggest difficulty was in the late 2025 period when Ho Chi Minh City was affected by rainy weather, causing many outdoor items to be temporarily suspended. Immediately after the weather stabilized, the unit accelerated to compensate for progress to be on time for the inauguration day.

Tran Dai Nghia Primary School has a scale of 30 classrooms, each room is fully equipped with teaching equipment, notably a 65-inch interactive board to support teachers in applying technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to teaching.

A special highlight is the portrait of Professor - Academician Tran Dai Nghia painted solemnly inside the school gate to remind students of the spirit of learning and dedication. This idea was proposed by Ms. Van Minh Tan, the school principal.

It is expected that the project will be officially inaugurated on May 19, 2026. Immediately after that, at the beginning of June, the school will deploy enrollment for 10 first-grade classes, and at the same time receive transferred students from the ward and surrounding areas.

In parallel with enrollment work, the school also plans to organize clubs during the summer to serve the living and studying needs of students and parents in the area.
