Thus, candidates need to achieve the above score, corresponding to the registered majors, to be able to submit an application for admission to the school. This score includes the total score of 3 high school graduation exam subjects according to the combination and the plus and priority points ( if shown).
This floor score also applies to other admission methods other than the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, after converting equivalent scores.
Notably, the semiconductor Technology major, the hot major of the school and the whole country, has an admission floor score of 20 points. Details of other majors are as follows:

This year, all universities must convert the scores of admission methods; at the same time, conduct decentralization, that is, convert the exam scores of admission combinations to the same general scale, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Ministry of Education and Training will also announce the conversion table of points of 5 traditional groups: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English). This is the basis for candidates to refer to and for schools to refer to when building a standard score conversion table between methods and combinations.
In addition to the exchange rate table of the Ministry of Education and Training, previously, some universities have begun to announce a table of exam score differentiation between groups and admission methods.
For example, at Hanoi National University, a candidate with 27.75 points according to the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English) is evaluated at 30 points if considering the A00 combination (Math, Physics, Chemistry). Meanwhile, Hanoi University of Science and Technology added 0.5 points for candidates using the D01 combination compared to the remaining combinations.
In 2025, the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi plans to enroll more than 2,400 students for 28 majors and training programs. The school uses admission methods: considering HSA competency assessment exam scores, SAT exam results, combining high school graduation exam scores with international foreign language certificates, and admission is completely based on high school graduation exam scores.
Tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year have been adjusted up slightly, ranging from 16.9 to 38 million VND depending on the major, about 1-2 million VND higher than the previous year.
Regarding the benchmark scores, in 2024, the admission rate for majors based on a 30-point scale ranges from 20 to 26.25 points, in which the Electronics Engineering and IT major has the highest benchmark score.
In particular, the four majors of Mathematics, Informatics, Computer Science and Information Technology, Data Science are considered on a 40-point scale (in which Math is doubled), the benchmark scores last year were between 24.45 - 35. Data Science leads this group with the highest score.
