According to information from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - VNU-UMP, the school has officially launched a master's training program in English for international students from 2025.
This is one of the strategic steps to expand international training cooperation and affirm the University's position in the region and the world; Aiming to develop into a high-quality medical training center and integrate internationally.
The program is designed for international students who want to study and plan to work in Vietnam, especially candidates from India - where the demand for training high-quality medical human resources is constantly increasing. The entire teaching process is done in English, creating favorable conditions for students to access an international academic environment and prepare for a global healthcare career right in Vietnam.
The training program includes 04 majors:
- Master of Internal Medicine
- Master of Foreign Medicine
- Master of Pediatrics
- Master of Electrical and Electrical Engineering & Nuclear Medicine
With a teaching staff of leading experts, rich in international teaching experience and practice at central hospitals, the program ensures in-depth training quality, updates modern knowledge and is in line with international medical training standards.
At the same time, international students are also able to participate in basic Vietnamese language classes to support communication and living in Vietnam, as well as integrate with the indigenous cultural environment throughout the learning process.
The master's training program in English at VNU-UMP is built according to the quality assessment standards of the Ministry of Education & Training, Hanoi National University and refers to advanced medical training programs in the region. Modern facilities, a system of practice rooms and 29 central practice hospitals in Hanoi will be an ideal environment for international students to both study theory and practice practical professional skills.
