Candidate N.L. K asked, in case candidates participate in multiple thinking assessment exams, what results will be used for university admission consideration?
The Ministry of Education and Training answers this issue on the Government Electronic Information Portal as follows:
The results used for admission consideration will be the highest results (or the most beneficial results for candidates) according to regulations and admission methods of each training institution, on the basis of ensuring the principle of creating the highest chance of admission for candidates and processing aspirations on the common system.
Based on the regulations in the Regulations on admission principles to ensure the maximum rights of candidates: "Candidates must be given the highest chance of admission and the right to determine priority aspirations..." (point d, clause 1, Article 3 of Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDĐT).

Admission is carried out on the basis of system data, ensuring the selection of the most beneficial option for candidates: "The system automatically removes... and returns the list of admitted candidates according to the highest aspirations" (Clause 4, Article 15 of Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDĐT).
The training institution is responsible for clearly announcing in the enrollment information: "The training institution builds, announces... enrollment methods, admission criteria..." (Clause 1, Article 11 of Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDĐT).
Therefore, if candidates take multiple rounds of the thinking assessment exam or independent exam, the training institution will specifically stipulate how to use the results.
Usually, the admission system will select the highest result or the most favorable result for candidates in accordance with enrollment regulations.
The general principle is to ensure that candidates are considered for admission according to the most favorable option among valid data recorded by the system, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
