Hung Yen - Video recording child abuse at a preschool facility in Pham Ngu Lao commune, Hung Yen province is causing public stir.

On April 7, social networks spread a video recording the scene of a woman having violent behavior, strongly impacting a baby, including using her hand to slap the child's leg, then taking off her shirt.

According to shared information, the incident occurred at about 10:42 am on the same day in a room of a kindergarten in Pham Ngu Lao commune, Hung Yen province.

Immediately after appearing, the video attracted great attention from the online community, many opinions expressed concern about how to care for and protect young children in the preschool environment.

Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Pham Ngu Lao Commune People's Committee said that the locality has grasped the information about the incident. Currently, the local government is conducting inspection and verification to clarify the related content in the video.

The verification results will be the basis for functional agencies to consider and handle according to regulations if violations are detected.
