Traffic Police and Da Nang police forces are deployed 100% of their personnel, proactively preventing early situations that may arise.
In 3 days, March 14, 15 and 16, the Traffic Police force organized patrols and inspections on key roads, central areas and places with a large number of voters traveling. The plan was built to promptly handle traffic accidents, relieve congestion, and ensure smooth traffic during the election.
Task forces are deployed in areas with high vehicle density, near polling stations or main traffic routes. Functional forces are ready to support people when incidents occur during voting trips, contributing to ensuring convenient and safe travel.
Traffic police also perform the task of welcoming, leading and protecting delegations of high-level leaders of the Party and State participating in the election, ensuring safe and smooth journeys according to the direction of the National Election Council.
In parallel with strengthening forces on the ground, officers and soldiers promote the application of technology in traffic management. Surveillance camera systems and digital map platforms are used to monitor vehicle situations, detect points at risk of congestion early to adjust and divert traffic in a timely manner.
The City Police also coordinated with relevant units to advise on a plan to temporarily suspend the circulation of some types of vehicles that pose a risk of unsafety. Accordingly, ore trucks and vehicles with 5 or more axles will temporarily stop operating on National Highway 14D for two days, March 15 and 16.
In addition, the City Department of Construction announced the temporary suspension of operations for dump trucks and trucks with a tonnage of 7.5 tons or more on most roads during the time frame from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on March 15. Some main routes, expressways and National Highway 1A are still allowed to circulate to ensure inter-regional traffic connection.
These synchronous solutions aim to create favorable conditions for voters to travel safely, contributing to the election day taking place in an orderly and smooth manner throughout the city.
