Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal reported that the Provincial People's Committee is finalizing the draft to submit to the Provincial People's Council to issue a resolution on investment policy for the construction of An Binh road connecting Binh Duong with Ho Chi Minh City.
The project to upgrade and expand An Binh road connecting Song Than overpass has the beginning of the route intersecting with the parallel road of Song Than overpass, the end point intersecting with Tran Thi Vung road ( bordering Binh Duong and Ho Chi Minh City provinces). The road is about 1.1km long, with a cross-section of 34m. The intersection between An Binh Street and Le Trong Tan Street is arranged with a cross-section of 41m.
According to current calculations, the total investment of the project will be increased to VND 2,755 billion from the provincial budget (in 2024 it is VND 1,478 billion).
According to records, An Binh Street currently has only 2 narrow lanes. This is an urban development area, the route passes through Binh Duong Industrial Park.
An Binh Street is both a traffic route for people and a freight route for Binh Duong Industrial Park, often causing traffic congestion.
According to the plan, Binh Duong province will complete investment procedures and construction in the second quarter of 2027.
