On July 16, the People's Committee of Mui Ne ward (Lam Dong province) organized forced land recovery for a case of not complying with the land recovery decision to implement the project to repair and upgrade Nguyen Dinh Chieu street and Huynh Thuc Khang street.
This is a key traffic infrastructure project on the Mui Ne tourist route, contributing to urban embellishment, improving the exploitation capacity of the coastal road and promoting tourism and socio-economic development of the locality.

According to the decision of the Chairman of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee, the area to be coerced is 35.2m2 of perennial crop land, which is the land in front of the yard, represented by Ms. P.T. H.
Previously, the locality issued a decision to recover land, approved compensation and support plans and repeatedly propagated and mobilized land users to comply. However, households still did not hand over land according to regulations.
For this case, the total approved compensation and support costs are more than 13.5 million VND, including land compensation and crop support. The payment is made in accordance with the law.
According to the People's Committee of Mui Ne ward, as of July 16, the locality has mobilized 486/491 cases to receive compensation and hand over land, reaching nearly 99%. Only 5 cases have not agreed and must carry out land recovery coercion procedures according to regulations.

The project to repair and upgrade Nguyen Dinh Chieu street and Huynh Thuc Khang street has a length of nearly 4.9km, a roadbed width of 17m, with a total investment of more than 309 billion VND.
After completion, the road is expected to improve traffic capacity on the Mui Ne coastal axis, creating a spacious appearance for the tourist area and meeting the travel needs of people and tourists.
Mui Ne Ward People's Committee said it will continue to complete site clearance for the remaining cases to soon hand over clean ground to the construction unit, ensuring project implementation progress.
