The road project from the center of Ham Thuan Bac district (old) to National Highway 1 is 4.4km long with a total investment of nearly 265 billion VND.
This is a key project of the province, connecting National Highway 28 with National Highway 1 and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway at Ma Lam intersection.
On October 15, the Ham Thuan Bac Construction Investment Project Management Board said that to implement the project, 191 households and organizations were affected. Of which, there are still 43 households that have not agreed to receive compensation and hand over the site.
According to records at the construction site, 3 contractors are implementing many construction phases. The construction sites of the roadbed are level 3, level 2 crushed stone, drainage system. Many workers are completing the bridge abutments.
A construction unit said it is facing difficulties in the supply of soil materials. The project is still stuck with compensation for site clearance due to the lack of specific land prices.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh also inspected the project. Faced with the above problems, Mr. Nguyen Minh emphasized that compensation and site clearance must ensure the harmony of the interests of the State and people, in accordance with legal regulations.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned to work with the unit providing soil and rock, commit to the construction unit, if the materials cannot be met, then consider other solutions, not to affect the construction.
The Land Fund Development Center must complete the relocation of the two BTS pillars in October and complete the site clearance dossier.
Ham Thuan Commune People's Committee will coordinate with units to issue specific land prices before November 15, and at the same time mobilize the remaining households to hand over the land.
Construction units, local authorities and investors are speeding up the progress of compensation, site clearance, and removal of bottlenecks to speed up project implementation. The goal is to complete the 5-month plan earlier and disburse 100% of investment capital in 2025.
