Hanoi - From January 11, pilot traffic adjustment at Kim Ma - Giang Van Minh intersection, no turning left, turning around and organizing with traffic lights.

Hanoi Department of Construction will pilot traffic organization adjustments at Kim Ma - Giang Van Minh intersection from January 11 to April 11.

According to the adjustment plan, the Kim Ma - Giang Van Minh intersection is organized for traffic by traffic lights. Vehicles are allowed to turn right continuously in the direction from Giang Van Minh street to Kim Ma street (direction into the city center).

The Department of Construction prohibits vehicles from turning left from Kim Ma street to Giang Van Minh street, and at the same time prohibits vehicles from turning around on Kim Ma street in both directions. Vehicles that need to turn left or turn around should go straight through the intersection and turn around at the adjacent median strip opening points on Kim Ma street.

Hanoi Department of Construction assigned the Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Board to adjust the system of signs, paint markings and recover the median strip to suit the pilot plan; coordinate with the Traffic Control Center - Hanoi City Police to adjust the traffic light system at Kim Ma - Giang Van Minh intersection and adjacent intersections according to actual traffic flow.

In addition, relevant units will survey and propose a plan to cut sidewalks and expand road surfaces at the Giang Van Minh - Kim Ma intersection (the gate area of the Vietnam Cheo Theater) to increase traffic capacity.
