On May 14, Hoang Liet ward officially opened technical traffic on the road bordering the North - South railway and Linh Dam lake.
The project "Building a road adjacent to the North-South railway and Linh Dam lake", the section connecting Nguyen Huu Tho street with Hoang Liet street, is about 470m long, with a cross-section of 17m. This is the first project of Hoang Liet ward since the two-level local government model went into operation.
The road is invested synchronously according to the plan, including traffic and technical infrastructure items, to ensure smooth connection between Nguyen Huu Tho street and Hoang Liet street. At the same time, the project contributes to effectively exploiting the traffic space in the area adjacent to the North-South railway line and Linh Dam lake.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of Hoang Liet Ward People's Committee - said that putting the road into operation will contribute to improving people's travel conditions, reducing local traffic pressure, especially at times when level crossings must be closed for North-South trains to travel. The road is also expected to create more motivation for socio-economic development in the area.
The project started in early December 2025, constructed by a joint venture of contractors HUGIA Investment and Development Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Railway Signal Information Joint Stock Company.
According to local representatives, during the implementation process, the project faced many difficulties due to high labor and material prices, along with the fact that trucks carrying materials could not enter the construction site during the day. However, to date, the project has completed technical traffic, exceeding the schedule by 45 days compared to the set plan.
