Component project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project Phase 1 is managed by the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, with a total length of route 48.09km.
Component project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Project has a total investment of VND 6,165 billion. The project has 3 construction packages and was started along with the overall project on June 18, 2023.
These days, along the entire route of Component Project 3, there are dozens of construction teams, mobilizing nearly 800 officers, engineers, workers and nearly 500 modern machines and equipment to work continuously. The roadbed, bridge, culvert and underpass items have been basically completed.
According to the Dak Lak Province Traffic Construction Investment and Rural Development Project Management Board, as of October 16, 2025, the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Component 3 Project has reached more than 71.8% of the construction contract value.
The hot asphalt concrete pavement alone has only reached 58% to 73% of the volume. The total implementation value is equivalent to VND 3,084/4,293 billion.
Previously, on the afternoon of October 17, a working group of the Provincial People's Committee led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai inspected the construction status of Component Project 3, Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Phase 1.
Speaking at the inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai requested departments, branches and localities to urgently remove obstacles in procedures, especially in site clearance; promptly issue instructions for determining land prices for residential roads and auxiliary works.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai also requested the investor to speed up the progress, urging the contractors to ensure the project is completed before December 19, 2025, so that the project can be put into use soon, serving safe and effective traffic.
