On January 26 (27th of Tet), traffic flow on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay, Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet, Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressways through Binh Thuan province was smooth, without congestion or slow-moving vehicles like previous days.
Because today is Sunday, many people have returned from Ho Chi Minh City to their hometowns in the Central provinces since the evening of January 24 after finishing their last working day and traffic on the highway is at its busiest on January 25.

In addition, from the evening of January 24 to January 25, there were many traffic accidents and collisions on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay and Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressways, combined with heavy traffic volume, causing congestion in many sections. Traffic police had to regulate traffic on National Highway 1.
Currently, the free flow of traffic helps people return to their hometowns on the highway more conveniently and less tired. Temporary rest stops have also been put into operation so that people returning to their hometowns can stop and rest.

On National Highway 1 through Binh Thuan, the number of motorbikes returning to their hometowns has also thinned out. Earlier on the evening of January 25, groups of motorbikes with license plates from the central provinces took advantage of the cool evening weather to return to their hometowns.

To ensure traffic safety during Tet, local police in Binh Thuan province and the Traffic Police Department have proactively planned to regulate traffic and clear traffic congestion in their management areas if it occurs, especially on routes through tourist areas, toll stations, etc.
