On July 21, the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board - the investor of the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway, confirmed that it had completely prevented unsafe traffic on the unfinished expressway sections.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board has directed relevant units to use hard median strips and stretch markers at the starting and end points and the sections under construction of the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway.
"Currently, only vehicles of the construction unit are still circulating on the expressway sections" - said a representative of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article "Dangerous disregard, many drivers on the Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway have not completed it". In response to the reflection, Mr. Phan Phong Phu - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police, the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board and related units to organize an inspection and verification of the information reported by the newspaper.
From there, promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and direct or report to competent authorities to direct in accordance with regulations to ensure traffic safety and security in the area where the project passes through.
