Recently, people living near the Suoi Giua toll station (part of the BOT project on National Highway 13, through Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province) have continued to question and make recommendations about the toll collection time and toll collection rate of this station.
Regarding the above issue, according to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the Provincial People's Committee has also recently issued a document responding to voters' petitions sent to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
This is a BOT route, Binh Duong province signed contract No. 819/HD.BOT.UB on March 14, 2002 with Becamex Corp) - now Becamex IDC.
Accordingly, regarding the toll collection period of National Highway 13, the toll collection period is 35 years (from 2002 to 2037).

According to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, the provincial Department of Transport will continue to coordinate with Becamex IJC Company (a subsidiary of Becamex IDC) to study a plan to exempt and reduce toll collection for people with cars near the Suoi Giua toll station during the implementation of the project to upgrade and expand National Highway 13.
According to records, the project to upgrade National Highway 13 from the border of Ho Chi Minh City to Le Hong Phong Street (the section passing through Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong) is being implemented.
The project started in 2024, however, up to now, the project is still unfinished; congestion often occurs in the expanding section; there are more congestion in the area passing through Thu Dau Mot city and Suoi Giua toll station recently.
