On the afternoon of November 9, many drivers traveling on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway to the km139 section through Lam Dong province said that they had to suddenly slow down and change lanes to avoid the goats traveling on the expressway.
This location is about 5km from Vinh Hao intersection. The incident shocked some drivers because they were running at high speed.

At the scene, a herd of about 15 goats was walking on the North-South road. Some drivers believe that due to high speed, sudden changes of direction to avoid colliding with a herd of goats pose a potential risk of colliding with the vehicle behind.
Recently, the situation of people release buffaloes, cows, and goats inside the highway protection corridor has become very common. There have been cases of cows getting lost on the highway and colliding.

The expressway management unit has repeatedly issued documents requesting local authorities to coordinate in propagating to people not to graze cattle in the road corridor area. However, the matter has not been completely resolved.
With a maximum speed of 90km/h on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, if just an unexpected obstacle appears, it will be difficult for drivers to handle it in time.
