On June 11, leaders of B'Lao Ward People's Committee (Lam Dong) confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area on the southern bypass of Bao Loc, killing a young man.

According to initial information, the accident occurred at about 3 am on the same day on the southern bypass of Bao Loc, passing through Nga Son 2 residential group, B'Lao ward.
Some local people said that at the above time, they heard motorbikes revving their engines, accompanied by engine revving sounds in this area.
A few minutes later, people heard a loud noise, so they ran out to check and discovered a motorbike lying on the side of the road in serious condition. Next to it was a young man who had died.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived to blockade the scene, examine and investigate the cause of the incident.
The victim's identity was identified as Mr. Vu Hoang Thanh Minh (21 years old, residing in Kim Dien residential group, B'Lao ward).
According to initial records of functional agencies, the incident shows signs of a self-accident. However, the specific cause is being further investigated and clarified.
The southern Bao Loc bypass road has a total investment of more than 800 billion VND, started in 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2019. However, the project is behind schedule and construction has been stopped since October 2020 due to lack of capital.
At the time of temporary suspension, the project was only about 70% completed and had been abandoned for many years.
During this time, many items were seriously degraded, and landslides and subsidence occurred, causing traffic unsafety.
Over the past time, many traffic accidents have occurred on this route, killing 3 people. After that, functional agencies have barricaded and planted warning signs prohibiting vehicles from traveling.
Currently, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province has approved the project to complete the Bao Loc bypass with a total budget of 400 billion VND to overcome damage and degradation, meet traffic needs and reduce the load on National Highway 20 section passing through Bao Loc area.
