On September 18, the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway Management Board said that since this morning, units have deployed the installation of sports betting on the expressway. The installation requires using cranes to lift large support bares, so the operation of the section at the construction site must be temporarily suspended to ensure safety.

Vehicles traveling on the expressway are regulated by the Traffic Police (CSGT) of the Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and the patrol unit to travel to National Highway 1.

According to records, on the morning of September 18, construction was carried out on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway in the section from Phan Thiet intersection (km234) to National Highway 28 intersection (km208).
Traffic police were on duty at Phan Thiet intersection in the South - North direction and temporarily closed the road, regulating vehicles off the highway at Ba Bau intersection.
At the National Highway 28 intersection, in the North - South direction, vehicles are allowed to go to National Highway 28, go to National Highway 1 and enter the expressway at the Ba Bau intersection.

A representative of the Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 said that it is expected to temporarily close the rotating expressway sections for 3 days to implement the construction of the expressway, so drivers need to pay attention to choose a suitable route.
The dragon fruit tray is a frame for installing traffic cameras and electronic boards on the highway. Recently, units have erected pillars along the road to install dragon fruit, construct a cable system, etc.


The system of surveillance cameras, traffic control, non-stop electronic toll collection and vehicle weight control works on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway are expected to be put into operation in December 2025. On this expressway, there will be one surveillance camera every 2km.
The Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway is over 100km long, passing through Lam Dong province. This expressway will be open to traffic from May 2023, a section of the North - South expressway in the East. The route has 4 lanes, with a maximum speed of 90 km/h.
