According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, during these days, at the construction site of Lac Dia freshwater reservoir project (Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province), the working atmosphere is very urgent. Workers are working hard, racing against time to ensure construction progress.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thinh - a supervisor at the Lac Dia freshwater reservoir project - said that there are currently more than 100 workers, technical staff and many machines and equipment operating at the construction site. Contractors have rotated teams and teams to implement the construction, ensuring the project's progress.
Directing construction workers at the construction site, Mr. Tran Minh Phuong - technical officer of Chan Hung Construction Company Limited, one of the contractors for package 01 of the project - said that he has mobilized more human resources and construction equipment to speed up and ensure the quality of the project to soon complete the project in August 2025.
Mr. Le Minh Truyen - Deputy Director in charge of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development of Ben Tre province - said that package No. 01 of the project has completed about 91% of the volume according to the contract value, while package No. 02 has reached 43%.
"Currently, the investor has directed contractors to mobilize more equipment and human resources to speed up the progress to soon complete the Lac Dia Lake project scheduled for August 2025 to celebrate the Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030", said Mr. Truyen.
The Lac Dia freshwater reservoir project was built in Phu Le commune, Ba Tri district, Ben Tre province, invested by the Management Board of the Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Projects of Ben Tre province. The project has a total investment of more than 352 billion VND, the implementation period is from 2021 to 2025.
