Determining that traffic safety propaganda and education is an important task, right at the beginning of the new school year, the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police coordinated with schools in Hanoi to organize traffic safety propaganda activities, attracting the participation of a large number of students.
At Doan Thi Diem High School, Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 organized a propaganda session for 1,300 students and 222 teachers. Students listened to reporters assess the situation of traffic order and safety in the city, disseminate the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, Decree 168/2024 and regulations on conditions for driving motorbikes, mopeds, and electric motorbikes.

At the same time, at Khuong Dinh Secondary School, nearly 2,000 students participated in a propaganda session on traffic safety laws organized by Road Traffic Police Team No. 7. In addition to disseminating the provisions of the Law and Decree 168/2024, students are also allowed to participate in Q&A activities, explaining traffic situations, thereby improving their handling ability when participating in actual traffic. At the program, representatives of parents, teachers and students signed a commitment to comply with the law on traffic order and safety.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Binh, Deputy Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Hanoi City Police), the propaganda sessions in schools are of special significance, helping students not only grasp legal knowledge but also form a sense of self-awareness when participating in traffic.
This is the foundation to build a young generation to live responsibly, contributing to reducing accidents and creating a safe and civilized traffic culture in the capital, Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Binh emphasized.
In addition to disseminating knowledge about traffic order and safety, the Traffic Police force also guides students on regulations directly related to age in ensuring traffic order and safety. Specifically, at Hanoi Public Transport Vocational College, more than 400 students and teachers watched real-life reporting videos, discussed and made comments and assessments of situations set by the organizing committee, thereby testing and improving knowledge as well as awareness of law compliance.
In addition to traffic safety regulations, students are also instructed by reporters to use the VNeID application with many useful features such as integrating a driver's license, registering a vehicle and changing their driving license online on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal.
