On the afternoon of July 2nd, functional agencies of Lam Dong province are investigating and clarifying the cause of a traffic accident that occurred on the Ho Chi Minh road, passing through Kien Duc commune.
According to initial information, at about 9:30 am on the same day, a truck with license plate 47H-038.65 driven by Mr. Hoang Thanh Toan (31 years old, residing in Dak Lak province) was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh road in the direction from Dak Lak to Dong Nai.
When reaching Km1923+800, belonging to hamlet 16, Kien Duc commune, the truck collided with a motorbike with license plate 76L-4038 driven by Mr. Phan Tuan Sinh (63 years old, residing in Dong Nai City) traveling in the same direction in front.
The collision seriously injured Mr. Phan Tuan Sinh. Although he was taken to Dak R'Lap Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment, the victim did not survive.
Immediately after the incident occurred, functional forces were present to examine the scene, divert traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, in the early morning of July 2, on the Ho Chi Minh road, the section passing through Nhan Co commune also occurred an accident between a truck and a motorbike, killing 3 people.
All three victims were riding the same motorbike and lived in Quang Ngai province.
Among them, Mr. Dinh Van Du died at the scene; the remaining two people, Mr. Dinh Van Sanh and Mr. Dinh Van Kem, were taken to the emergency room but did not survive.
After the accident, Nhan Co Commune Police coordinated with professional units of Lam Dong Provincial Police and the People's Procuracy of Region 7 to examine the scene, collect evidence, and investigate to clarify the cause.
