At about 10:40 am this morning (April 23), at the Vuc Vong roundabout (Hoa Mac to Dong Van direction), corresponding to Km218+700 (left route) on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway, passing through Dong Van ward (Ninh Binh province), a serious traffic accident occurred.
According to initial information, the accident involved a dump truck with license plate 90H-038. 27 and a motorbike. As a result, a female victim riding a motorbike died on the spot. Because the motorbike was dragged under the truck, the license plate of this vehicle has not been identified.
The incident did not cause damage to road traffic infrastructure. In the area where the accident occurred, vehicles traveled slowly when passing through the intersection roundabout but no congestion occurred.
At the scene of the incident, the traffic safety system in the area was complete, the roadbed and surface were in normal condition.
Currently, functional forces are continuing to handle the case according to regulations.
