On May 26, Ho Chi Minh City Police are investigating a serious traffic accident that occurred on Tan Hoa Dong Street, Binh Tan District, causing a man to die on the spot and a woman to be seriously injured after a motorbike crashed into the back of a truck.
Initial information, a young man and an elderly woman were riding a motorbike with a HCMC license plate, traveling on Tan Hoa Dong Street from Huong Lo 2 to An Duong Vuong. When arriving at Tan Hoa Dong Street (Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District), the motorbike suddenly hit hard at the back of a truck (license plate unknown) parked on the road.
According to information from local residents, the truck in the accident was used to transport materials for construction nearby. This car had only parked on Tan Hoa Dong Street for a short time before the accident occurred.
Notably, at the time of the accident, there was heavy rain, which may have affected the visibility and handling of the vehicle's situation.
Immediately after receiving the news, the police of Binh Tri Dong ward coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Police and professional units to be present at the scene to investigate the case. The functional force has extracted the security camera around the area to collect more information, serving the investigation of the exact cause of the accident.
