Hanoi - Hanoi City Police are investigating the accident that caused traffic sign posts to fall at the Van Phuc - To Huu intersection in Ha Dong district.

On December 22, the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police and Ha Dong District Police are investigating the collapse of traffic sign posts at the Van Phuc - To Huu intersection, Ha Dong District.

In the early morning of December 22, upon receiving a report that traffic signs at the To Huu - Van Phuc intersection had been broken by a car, Traffic Police Team No. 7, Traffic Police Department and Ha Dong District Police quickly arrived to investigate and clarify the matter.

At the scene, a white Mercedes car with license plate 30K - 163.xx traveling from Ha Dong district to Thanh Xuan was found lying completely on the median strip in the middle of the road with the front of the car completely deformed.

Based on the traces at the scene and excerpts from traffic cameras, it is initially clear that the car was traveling in a straight line at high speed from Ha Dong district to Thanh Xuan district, crossing the intersection and going straight onto the median strip. The incident occurred at dawn, the Van Phuc - To Huu intersection had no one passing by, so casualties were avoided.

After crashing into a signpost and plowing through the median strip, the car deployed its airbags, the driver luckily escaped and left the scene. The incident did not cause any casualties, the cause is under investigation by the police.
