On the afternoon of December 9, Mai Chau District Police said that on the morning of the same day, the unit received a report from residents of San Sop hamlet, Son Thuy commune about the discovery of a car that had fallen into the Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Reservoir.
Upon receiving the news, Mai Chau District Police quickly mobilized forces and vehicles to organize rescue and salvage the above vehicle (license plate 28A-017.30).
After salvage, a male body was found inside the car.
In a quick exchange with Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the leader of Mai Chau District Police informed that the identity of the man who died inside the car was Mr. H.T.T (born in 1978, residing in sub-zone 3, Moc Chau town, Moc Chau district, Son La province). His family has come down to identify him.
"The victim is an officer of the Policy Bank in Van Ho district. He left home about 10 days ago. His family posted a search message on social media.
Preliminary determination has found no signs of criminality in the incident. We are currently conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death," said this leader.
