In the afternoon of February 4th, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, km144+300 section passing through Tuy Phong commune, Lam Dong province, an accident occurred between 2 trucks.
At the above time, a truck with license plate 50H-143. 41 was moving in the South - North direction. When arriving at the above location, this vehicle suddenly crashed strongly into the rear of another truck, running in the same direction in front.
The strong collision caused the rear truck cabin to be broken, completely deformed and stuck to the rear of the front car. Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured.
Immediately after the accident occurred, traffic police forces of Highway Traffic Patrol and Control Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) were present at the scene.
The route management unit is also mobilized to coordinate handling and organize remote traffic diversion to ensure traffic safety.
Vehicles traveling in the South - North direction are regulated to leave the expressway at Cho Lau intersection. The accident location is about 10km from Vinh Hao intersection.
Due to high traffic volume, many cars moving near the accident area were congested, lined up in a long line on the route. At the scene, two trucks blocked part of the road.
The cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
