On the morning of December 13, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, km153 through Bac Binh commune, Lam Dong province, a traffic accident occurred between two trucks traveling in the same direction.
At that time, the delivery truck with license plate 50E-396.31 was traveling in the North - South direction. When reaching km153, the vehicle collided strongly with the rear of a truck in the same direction in front with license plate 43H-175.xx.
After the collision, the delivery truck continued to rush forward, causing the front of the cabin to be seriously deformed. The driver of the delivery truck was injured and trapped in the cockpit.
A rescue crane and authorities quickly arrived at the scene and broke the crashed car cabin, took the driver out, and transferred him to the emergency room.
The Traffic Police force of Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and the route management unit were present to handle the scene and regulate traffic.
The authorities have temporarily closed the expressway section from Vinh Hao intersection to Cho Lau intersection. Vehicles are instructed to turn onto National Highway 1 to continue traffic.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the Traffic Police.
