At about 1:30 pm on March 24, on Provincial Road 725, the section passing through pass B40 (Bao Lam 5 commune, Lam Dong), a truck overturned.
At that time, the truck was traveling through the pass (driver's identity unknown), when entering a sharp curve, it overturned. The accident caused the vehicle to block the road, completely paralyzing both sides of traffic. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The incident caused traffic through pass B40 to be congested, and many vehicles had to stop to wait or change direction.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived, deployed rescue, and cleared the scene. By about 3 pm on the same day, traffic was partially restored, and vehicles could circulate in one direction.
Pass B40 is more than 10km long, connecting Bao Lam 5 commune through Con O pass to Da Teh area, connecting with National Highway 20 and National Highway 28. The road has many sharp curves, posing a risk of accidents, especially for unfamiliar drivers.
