On the afternoon of December 3, in the area down Cu Hin Pass (from Nam Nha Trang Ward to Cam Lam Commune), a dump truck, not carrying goods, suddenly overturned and crashed into the median strip.
The incident caused all vehicles traveling through the area to be congested for many hours.
According to the record, the car was almost completely blocked, the front and body were pressed against the median strip, so other vehicles could not move. The driver was lucky to escape and leave the cabin safely.

Cu Hin Pass is a vital traffic route connecting Cam Ranh Airport and the center of Nha Trang.
At around 4:30 p.m., Nam Nha Trang Ward Police were present to regulate traffic and support the opening of the pass. During the handling of the scene, many passenger vehicles to Cam Ranh airport were instructed to route through National Highway 1 to ensure travel time.
In recent days, Khanh Hoa province has experienced moderate to heavy rain due to the influence of the tropical depression. On Cu Hin Pass, authorities have placed many warning signs of the risk of slippery and landslides.
Previously, on the afternoon of December 2, Song Pha Pass - the road connecting Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong - was also hit by a landslide, causing traffic disruption for many hours. By the morning of December 3, the pass was reopened to traffic.
