Golfer Nguyen Anh Minh is currently the runner-up of the U.S. Junior Amateur tournament. Last year, Anh Minh participated in the U.S. Junior Amateur 2025 tournament and reached the final for the first time.
Closing the tournament, Anh Minh lost unfortunately to champion Hamilton Coleman (USA) in the final, so he accepted the runner-up position.
Mr. Minh is studying at Oregon State University (USA). It is likely that the Vietnamese golfer will continue to look for opportunities to participate in the U.S. Junior Amateur 2026 tournament.
Anh Minh and the Vietnamese golf team competed in SEA Games 33 in Thailand in December last year. The Hanoi golfer won a silver medal individually and a bronze medal in the men's team at SEA Games 33.
The results also recorded that Anh Minh won medals at 2 consecutive Southeast Asian Games, SEA Games 32 and SEA Games 33.
The Vietnamese golfer is currently in the Oregon State University golf team. According to the schedule, at the beginning of February, this school's golf team will compete in a friendly tournament with some teams in the region. Nguyen Anh Minh is expected to participate in the tournament.
Nguyen Anh Minh temporarily holds 42nd position in the world men's amateur rankings. Currently, the golfer has not competed in any tournament. In 2025, Anh Minh has competed in more than 13 international tournaments at all levels, and the runner-up results at SEA Games 33 and the U.S. Junior Amateur 2025 tournament are valuable achievements.
