According to Lao Dong's investigation, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese golf team chose Le Chuc An as 1 of 3 golfers to compete at ASIAD 20 in September in Japan.
The Vietnamese golf team selected 3 male faces and 3 female faces with the best achievements to award tickets to ASIAD 20.
The criteria for selecting athletes to participate in ASIAD 20 have been publicly announced by the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) and the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Golf Team to create fairness for golfers right from March 2026.
At the end of 2 selection rounds (the last time is June 30), the list of 6 golfers participating in ASIAD 20 has been decided.
Le Chuc An is currently the leading face of Vietnamese women's golf.
She won a women's individual bronze medal at SEA Games 33.
The achievement recorded the first time Vietnamese Sports had a female golfer win a medal at the SEA Games arena.
Le Chuc An is currently the defending national women's champion. On the world amateur women's golf rankings just announced, Le Chuc An increased 3 places, to 179th.
Chuc An is the highest ranked Vietnamese female golfer at the moment.
Last June, Chuc An competed in the SAT Chonburi Ladies Championship 2026 professional tournament in Thailand. Chuc An finished 74th overall.
From the beginning of 2026 to now, Le Chuc An has participated in about 6 important international tournaments and accumulated points on the world women's amateur golf ranking system.
