Tran The Bao is one of the young golfers noticed by Vietnamese home experts at the Trang An - AJGA International Pathway Series 2026 tournament at Trang An Golf & Resort (Ninh Binh).
On January 22, the Organizing Committee of the tournament informed before the start. Golfers entered the official competition from January 23.
Previously, Vietnamese and international athletes were allowed to come to the main court to get acquainted with the terrain and weather, ready to enter the race. One of the significant returns for golfers is that the weather in the North is starting to get cold, so everyone will be cautious when competing.
The entire tournament attracted 120 golfers from 20 countries and territories to compete in groups for men and women. Some international faces with good expertise came to Vietnam to compete such as Siwoo Park (Korea), Hayashi Daichi (Japan), Anjanette Tan (Singapore), Yang A Yeon (Korea)...
Golfer Tran The Bao is one of the young athletes of Vietnam who is predicted to create a surprise in terms of achievements. The Bao just won the Bac Ninh Open 2026 Youth Golf Tournament last week.
In this tournament, The Bao surpassed the national player who participated in SEA Games 33, Nguyen Trong Hoang, to stand No. 1. In 2025, Tran The Bao was crowned U18 men's player in the final leg of the VGA Junior Tour Final Leg of Vietnamese youth golf.
