Affirming the role of solidarity in mountainous and border villages
In village 56A, Dac Pring commune, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang attended and celebrated the Festival with the people of Gie Trieng.

The entire village of 56A has 34 households, whose lives mainly depend on agriculture. Thanks to the close coordination between the Front Working Committee and the branches of the association, the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" was effectively implemented, contributing to reducing nearly 59% of poor households, with an average income increasing to 20 million VND/person/year.
The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee highly appreciated the spirit of self-reliance, community solidarity, and efforts to protect the people's borders. He suggested that the locality continue to innovate production methods, focus on the collective economy and preserve traditional cultural values such as gongs, brocade weaving, and festivals of the Je Trieng people.
On the same day, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh attended the Festival in Dac Re village, La De commune. Mr. Vinh highly appreciated the efforts to overcome difficulties and the spirit of solidarity of the people in recovering from natural disasters, maintaining border security and building a new civilized and prosperous life.
In Ha Son village (Phuoc Tra commune), Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee Huynh Thi Thuy Dung congratulated the outstanding results: 100% of households use grid electricity, children go to class 100%, the poverty rate is still 22 households. She suggested that the locality continue to promote democratic regulations, support people to overcome damage caused by natural disasters and promote sustainable agricultural development.
In residential area 14, Lanh Ngoc commune, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee Vo Cong Chanh praised the model of "Shined - green - clean - beautiful road", "Self-managed security and order group", along with the results of sustainable poverty reduction. He suggested that the locality continue to restore production after floods, maintain solidarity, develop the garden - forest economy and stabilize people's lives.
Spreading the spirit of solidarity
In village 1, Tra Doc commune, where more than 98% of the population is Ca Dong people, activities in response to the Festival have attracted a large number of people. Chief of the City Party Committee Office Tran Thang Loi called on people to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, overcome landslide difficulties, improve their lives and contribute to building Tra Doc commune to be more and more civilized.
At Man Lap Tay 3 residential area, Son Tra ward, in the city center, Vice Chairman of Phan Thai Binh City People's Committee acknowledged the strong changes in the socio-economic development of the community of 202 households. Especially self-management models, building a civilized lifestyle, caring for social security and maintaining the movement of mutual love. Mr. Binh suggested that the residential area continue to contribute opinions to effectively operate the two-level government model, not leaving any problems with the people.
In Loc Thuong village, Que Son commune, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi shared her joy with the results of building a model new rural area, the poverty rate has decreased to 4 households. Ms. Thi suggested that the locality continue to promote the economic development model associated with tourism, digital transformation, focusing on caring for people with meritorious services and ensuring social security, especially after natural disasters.
In residential area 2A (Ngu Hanh Son ward), Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Tran Thi Man attended the Festival, recognizing her achievements in maintaining the title of "Cultural Residential Area" for many consecutive years, mobilizing more than 200 gifts to care for the poor.
It can be said that the presence of city leaders from the border highlands to the central area at the Great Unity Festival in Da Nang in 2025 has formed strong circles of solidarity.
The wishes, gifts, and encouragement from the city's leaders have both added confidence and affirmed the unchanging value of the spirit of great solidarity - an important source of strength for Da Nang to aim for the goal of prosperous, harmonious and sustainable development.
