On January 10, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngai Tu commune (Vinh Long province) coordinated with philanthropists to organize the inauguration, acceptance and commissioning ceremony of the clean water pipeline project in An Hoa and An Hoa B hamlets in the commune.
The project is implemented in areas with a large number of Khmer ethnic people living, showing the practical concern of all levels and sectors in taking care of social security, contributing to gradually improving the quality of life for people in areas still facing many difficulties.
The pipeline is 4,800 m long, with a total cost of 300 million VND, mobilized from many socialized sources. The project aims to supply clean water and improve the lives of people in Ngai Tu commune.
In which, Hoa Sen Charity Association (Ho Chi Minh City) supported 50 million VND; Venerable Thich Thien Quang and Buddhists of Buu Quang Pagoda (Tam Binh commune) supported 52 million VND; Suoi Mo Coffee Charity Association mobilized Tan A Dai Thanh Group to reduce material prices by 75 million VND. People contributed to buy materials and install water meters by 102 million VND; commune authorities paid labor costs of more than 20 million VND.
The project was constructed from November 1, 2025, with the participation and support of working days of youth union members of the Provincial Police, Regiment 890 - Military Command, Rural Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation Center, and people of An Hoa and An Hoa B hamlets. After nearly two months of construction, the project has been completed and put into use, providing clean and hygienic water to more than 51 households.

This is a work of practical significance to celebrate the 14th Party Congress; the Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation at all levels for the term 2026-2029; and at the same time to celebrate the Military-Civilian Tet and Spring of Volunteers in 2026, showing the spirit of solidarity and joining hands for the community, especially in areas with a large number of Khmer ethnic people living.
On this occasion, Hoa Sen Charity Association (Ho Chi Minh City) presented 20 gifts to poor households, households in difficult circumstances and students overcoming difficulties to study well in the area; each gift is 200,000 VND in cash, contributing to encouraging the spirit, helping disadvantaged people have more conditions to welcome the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
