The above amount was contributed by the staff, civil servants and employees of Da Nang University.

On the afternoon of July 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Da Nang City organized a reception of more than 935 million VND from the staff, civil servants and workers of Da Nang University to join hands in implementing the program "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in the area.

This is an activity in response to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister, and at the same time responding to the Appeal Letter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city. Immediately after its launch, Da Nang University has launched a widespread campaign to member universities and affiliated units.

With the spirit of mutual love and support, "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions have mobilized civil servants and employees to voluntarily contribute one day's salary to help households with difficult housing circumstances. As a result, the entire Da Nang University system has raised a total of more than 960 million VND.

Of which, more than 935 million VND was directly donated to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city to implement the program. The remaining amount was transferred to the Da Nang University Branch Trade Union in Kon Tum to implement this meaningful program right in the locality.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, expressed his appreciation and deeply acknowledged the heart and sharing of the Da Nang University community. He affirmed that this valuable resource will contribute significantly to helping the city speed up the progress of eliminating temporary houses, bringing safe and solid shelter to poor households. At the same time, he hopes that Da Nang University will continue to accompany the Front in other social security and humanitarian programs in the coming time.
