Tuan Dao and Tu Lan/Bac Ninh communes
On July 22, due to heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms, 1 person was injured, the roofs of 36 houses, 3 schools, 3 cultural houses, 3 factories were blown off; a landslide of 150m3 of soil and rock, 100m of canals in the fields, killing 200 poultry; causing local flooding of 90 hectares of rice, breaking 100 scattered trees, 80 fruit trees, 4 electric poles, 1 radio pole, 1 telecommunication pole; collapsed 230m of fence (Tu Lan commune).
Thai Nguyen and Lang Son provinces
The locality evacuated 40 households/168 people from the landslide risk area to safe shelters (Thai Nguyen: 32 households/126 people; Lang Son: 8 households/42 people).
Hung Yen Province
3:00 p.m. on July 22, an incident occurred over the Red River Boi dike in village 5, Hong Vu commune, Hung Yen province, causing about 300m of overflow and 08m of breakage, with no casualties.
The locality mobilized 152 people (Ministry of Military Command (CHQS) of the province: 62; Militia: 60; Other forces: 30. and military vehicles in coordination with local authorities to overcome the Boi dike overflower and breach.
By 4:00 p.m., the reinforcement and welding of the dike breach had basically been controlled. The authorities have evacuated 40 households/90 people to safe shelters.
Thanh Hoa Province
Army Corps 12 coordinated with localities to mobilize forces to evacuate 353 households/1,138 people living in areas at risk of flooding, flash floods, and landslides to safe shelters, cleared 122 houses, built 200m of dykes, flooded 2,230.3 hectares of crops, 6 landslides (04 communes: Phu Le, Nhi Son, Linh Toai, Trieu Loc), landslides on 3 dykes about 130m long in the communes: Thieu Trung, Dinh Hoa, Sao Vang, 1 fish raft floating out to the estuary (lach port has 03 people on the raft).
The locality mobilized 5,160 people (Body: 1,458, Militia: 3,767, cars: 38, ships, boats of all kinds: 33).
Nghe An province
The locality mobilized forces to evacuate 38 households/629 people living in areas at risk of flooding, flash floods, landslides to safe shelters and caused damage; 1 person died (Vuong Thanh Long, born in 1966); 1 person missing and swept away by water (Ms. Ly Y Dinh, born in 1965), flood swept away 5 houses, collapsed 7 houses, blew off 37 houses, flooded 1,342.6 hectares of crops, 29 landslides (4 communes: Thong Thu, Tri Le, Nhon Mai, My Ly).
The locality mobilized 1,273 people (Body: 300, Militia: 973, cars: 40, ships, boats of all kinds: 28).
