As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 5:00 p.m. this afternoon (July 23), a Ford pickup truck suddenly lost control, crashed onto the sidewalk, and climbed onto many motorbikes parked in front of 18 Kham Thien Street (Hanoi).
The incident damaged many motorbikes, fortunately only one person was slightly injured and was taken to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency treatment immediately.

According to the statement of the pickup truck driver, this truck was just bought from a person on Kham Thien Street. While going to the notary room to receive the key, this person sat on the motorbike and started it, but suddenly the motorbike lost control and accelerated. To avoid hitting passersby, the driver immediately swerved to the sidewalk, causing the car to crash into a series of motorbikes parked in front of a game club.
At that moment, a man driving a motorbike taxi from the alley was caught under the motorbike. Fortunately, this person was quickly taken to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency treatment with minor injuries.
According to information from Traffic Police Team No. 3 (Hanoi City Police), immediately after the incident, the unit sent forces to the scene, coordinated with the ward police to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
The pickup truck driver was tested for alcohol and drug concentration immediately. The results showed that this person was not using alcohol or drugs at the time of driving.
Initially, the authorities determined that 9 motorbikes, including 1 electric motorbike, were damaged due to a collision with a pickup truck. It is known that the health of the man who was caught under the car has stabilized. The victim was conscious and waiting for test results.
