    The working group of the Ministry of Public Security inspected the situation at Ngoc Son Fishing Port and Hai Phong City Police Hospital, evaluating the work of preventing storm No. 3.

    According to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, on July 22, the Ministry of Public Security's working delegation, authorized by Colonel Trinh Khac Cuong - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security - and representatives of a number of functional units of the Ministry of Public Security inspected Ngoc Son Fishing Port, Do Son Ward and Hai Phong City Police Hospital.

    The Standing Agency assisting the Steering Committee for Climate Change Response, Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense - Ministry of Public Security (abbreviated as the Steering Committee for Storm Prevention and Control No. 3) on storm prevention and control has come to inspect, urge and coordinate units and localities in Hai Phong city in implementing and performing storm prevention and control tasks according to the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.

    At the tourist attractions and inspections, the Ministry of Public Security's working delegation highly appreciated the standing and on-duty work of local police and city police units, in which they coordinated well with local authorities, departments and organizations to proactively prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of storms and heavy rains according to the motto "4 on-site", "3 readiness", "3 proactive" of disaster prevention and control plans, ensuring safety of people's lives and health...

    At Ngoc Son Fishing Port, Do Son Ward, the Ministry of Public Security's working group recorded 166 boats anchored firmly in the port.

    Previously, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, the City People's Committee, and the City Police on responding to storm No. 3 (Wipha), Ngoc Son Ward Police have resolutely deployed tasks, mobilizing 166 fishing vessels to anchor in the wharf, tie tightly; mobilizing 100% of fishermen and people to return to a safe storm shelter on land, supporting tourists in the ward to have a place to avoid the storm, setting up checkpoints to guide people not to go to dangerous areas such as the coast, embankments, etc.

    On this occasion, the Department of Health - Working Group of the Ministry of Public Security also presented medicine and equipment such as consumables in flood and storm prevention to the Hai Phong City Police Hospital.
