On March 2nd, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An commune, Lam Dong province informed that the unit has coordinated with Dak Dam, Dak M'Bai, Dak Lao Border Guard Stations, and Thuan An Border Gate to organize the "All People Border Guard Day" program.
At the same time, summarizing the implementation of the Movement "All people participate in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation" in 2026.
In recent years, in Thuan An commune, Lam Dong province, "National Border Guard Day" has been organized regularly with rich content and forms. Exchange and sisterhood activities between localities, schools and Border Guard Stations are maintained in a regular manner.
From there, creating a solid socio-political foundation, building an increasingly solid "people's heart formation", improving management efficiency, protecting territorial sovereignty, and national border security.
In 2025, Border Guard Stations coordinated with localities to organize 10 propaganda sessions with 800 participants; surveyed and fully statistically analyzed households, agencies, and units in the border belt, and guided the signing of self-management commitments.
The Police and Military forces of communes closely coordinate with Border Guard Stations to organize patrols and clear border roads, effectively combating illegal entry and exit and crimes. During the year, militia and people participated in 96 patrols, clearing more than 60 km of border patrol roads, repairing over 10 km of inter-village roads, creating favorable conditions for border management and protection and people's lives.
The forces organized over 1,460 border patrols with more than 10,220 participants; 91 local patrols with 275 participants. As a result, 16 cases/21 subjects were detected and handled, including 5 criminal cases; mobilized the handover of 3 homemade guns.
Programs to help people and social security such as "Raising Steps for Children to School", "Border Spring Warms People's Hearts", "Accompanying Border Women"... are being widely implemented. Thereby, improving people's lives, consolidating people's trust in the Party, State and armed forces.
In the coming time, Thuan An commune will continue to promote propaganda, consolidate the grassroots political system, strengthen coordination of forces, link the movement with campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; promptly commend, reward and replicate effective models. Thereby, contributing to maintaining stability in the land border area of Lam Dong province, building a "people's heart formation" in the new situation.
At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 51 scholarships worth 387,600,000 VND under the Project "Army officers and soldiers raise children to school".
