On November 23, speaking with reporters, Ms. Dong Thi Kieu Oanh - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Cao Bang province - said: "The fair is expected to have about 350 booths. In addition to Cao Bang's booths, other localities will also have products on display."
The event will be held at Km5 Square, De Tham Ward, Cao Bang City for 5 days. At this fair, Chinese enterprises are expected to participate with 20-30 booths with products such as processed agricultural products, consumer goods, machinery and equipment, electronics, refrigeration, household appliances, energy, etc.
In parallel with the fair, the two sides will hold talks on economic and trade cooperation between Cao Bang province and Baise city, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China). The content includes evaluating the results of cooperation in the past, proposing future cooperation directions, proposing solutions to promote trade, import and export, and signing a memorandum of understanding on trade development.
According to the reporter's investigation, the two localities are currently agreeing on the fair schedule, immigration procedures, forms of goods import, transportation plans, as well as reception and logistics work.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (residing in Song Hien ward) shared: "It's been a long time since there's been such a large-scale fair. Many modern products will be on display, so I'm really looking forward to the event. On the opening day, I definitely have to take my whole family to visit."
With the theme “Promoting comprehensive cooperation and sustainable development”, this year’s fair is expected to boost trade promotion activities, creating opportunities for Cao Bang and other businesses nationwide to promote their products, expand the market for goods consumption and tourism to Southern China.
The event is also a place for small and medium enterprises to expand international cooperation, exchange, sign contracts, promote investment, and boost domestic production.
