Notably, the meeting also approved a proposal to not collect tuition fees for 591 preschool and primary school students at public schools in Cao Bang province in areas affected by storms and floods in the 2024-2025 school year.

At the same time, the Cao Bang Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the subsidy of tuition fees that students must pay to public educational institutions. The above-mentioned exempted subjects are required to maintain the normal operation of schools.

This policy shows concern and sharing with families affected by floods in September 2024, helping to reduce economic burden, ensuring the right to education for students in disaster areas, contributing to stabilizing life and encouraging educational development.
