On June 19, 2026, in Da Nang city, Da Nang City People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) to organize the Launching Ceremony of the pilot model of Smart Kiosks and the System for authenticating and issuing digital copies of electronic documents (Digital Public Service Station) in the city.
The event marks a new step in the digital transformation process, modernizing public administration, contributing to improving the efficiency of serving people and businesses.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of leaders of Da Nang City People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (C06) - Ministry of Public Security, leaders of the City Police, leaders of Agribank, and representatives of departments, agencies, branches and coordinating units.
Smart kiosk - a new step in modernizing administrative operations
The digital public service station is considered a breakthrough solution in the digital transformation process, contributing to innovating the method of providing public administrative services in Da Nang. Through the kiosk, people can proactively perform identification, digitize papers, submit applications and receive results completely in a digital environment. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, optical character recognition (OCR) and digital data platforms helps to check, standardize, store and reuse documents, towards the goal of "numberizing once, using many times". The model also contributes to reducing paper files; shortening processing time; increasing transparency, convenience and efficiency in providing public services.
Not only is it a technology solution, the Digital Public Service Station also demonstrates a "people-centered" service method, contributing to building digital government, digital society and a professional and modern administration. The deployment of the Digital Public Service Station creates a platform for forming a digital data warehouse to serve people for a long time, reduce social costs, improve access to public services and promote the construction of a smart city in Da Nang city.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee highly appreciated the Digital Public Service Station model. This is not only a technology application solution in resolving administrative procedures but also shows a shift from management thinking to service thinking, putting people at the center. He acknowledged Agribank's companionship in the city's digital transformation process and expressed his belief that the Digital Public Service Station will contribute to realizing the goal of building digital government, digital citizens and digital society in the coming time.

Continuing the deployment of digital public service stations in some localities such as Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh, Agribank continues to accompany and sponsor digital public service stations in Da Nang city - a locality with a special position in the country's development space and with many imprints in administrative reform and digital transformation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade To Huy Vu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council of Agribank emphasized: Da Nang today not only has a dynamic urban area, but also rural, mountainous, coastal, island space, industrial parks, economic zones, tourist and service areas, heritage areas, production areas, and new residential areas. That is the gap that the Digital Public Service Station model is designed to fill: Bringing public services closer to the community, more friendly to all people - including the elderly, people who are not used to digital operations, people in remote areas and businesses need to transact quickly, neatly, and transparently.
Agribank's companionship and sponsorship of 11 digital public service stations serving people in Da Nang city continues to demonstrate the Bank's responsibility to the community and local development. The digital public service station sponsored by Agribank is located at 11 locations in Da Nang city including: City Public Administrative Service Center and communes/wards: Hai Chau, Hoa Cuong, Cam Le, Ngu Hanh Son, An Khe, An Hai, Tam Ky, Huong Tra, Nui Thanh, Thang An.
Along with activities to promote digital transformation, within the framework of the event, Agribank presented a social security sponsorship in the field of education to Da Nang city with a total value of 1 billion VND, through the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city.
